Holland Park has a reputation as an affluent and fashionable area, known for attractive large Victorian townhouses, and high-class shops and restaurants. There are many popular shopping destinations located around Holland Park such as High Street Kensington, Notting Hill, Holland Park Avenue, Royal Crescent, Portobello Market, Westbourne Grove, Clarendon Cross and Ledbury Road.
Though there are no official boundaries, they are roughly Kensington High Street to the south, Holland Road to the west, Holland Park Avenue to the north and Kensington Church Street to the east. Holland Park Avenue is at the boundaries of the four census wards of Norland, Holland, Pembridge and Campden.
The Houses in the streets named Holland Park are some of the most expensive in London and are famed for their size and width being double fronted and on wide treelined streets. The street has been popular with celebrities, embassies and wealthy businessmen for years having been home to Sir Richard Branson and currently David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham. Holland Park the street is actually three linked roads with Holland Park Mews in the middle and they were constructed between 1860 and 1880 by William and Francis Radford who built over 200 houses in the area.
