I called in advance to reserve a table outside with a great view for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. When we got there, they put us right under the speaker where we couldn't hear each other speak. I ask... more »
One of the lesser known rooftop bars in central London. Came here on a weekday evening and the experience was pleasant: Not too busy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Music wasn't too loud. Drinks were strong and expensive (but reasonable given this is a rooftop bar in The City). The decor can be described as modern and Asian-inspired, as are the cocktails. Views of the skyline from the terrace are definitely worth a few drinks but I wouldn't describe as iconic, and as are anywhere else in London that offers a view, you should book beforehand.
Continuously dissaponited. My partner and I first tried this place about 6 months ago. The drinks took almost 25 minutes to arrive at the table. I appreciate it may be peak times but common sense would surely tell you to get more staff or advise customers of the waiting time of cocktails? We had to order more drinks as they arrived at the table. Granted, the interior is very well presented and of course the view and the experience is lovely so we tried it again at a less busy time at a later date. We were greeted with a poor selection of wine and my boyfriend was delivered a £14 cocktail in a tiny little glass bottle that had clearly been prepped & tasted awful and a glass of ice and was told to pour it himself? Music was far too loud also, it wasn’t that busy yet we could barely hear each other talk over the generic techno beats. Could be a real thrill this place but management needs to be stronger
