  • This is a fantastic museum to visit. Tagged on to a group tour and the guide was amazing, really brought home the type of life the dockers experienced.  more »

  • I work near here sometimes and always see groups of kids go into the museum. I now see why. The place is really good for kids. Plenty of activities. But also great for adults. It covers a lot more than “just the docks” and is worth a visit just like any other London museum.
  • The Museum of London Docklands is well worth a visit. It is spread over three floors in a magnificent converted Victorian warehouse in the former heart of London's Docklands. The exhibitions are highly engaging and informative. It was only really through visiting the museum that I really gained an understanding of the vast scale of London's former docklands and began to really appreciate its historical and economic significance. The museum is child-friendy and as an added bonus entry is free. If the cafe wasn't so extortionately expensive and offered a better range of food I would have given five stars.
