Regent's Park, London

4.8
#3 of 184 in Parks in London
Once hunting grounds for Henry VIII, Regent's Park is a historic fine-weather resting place, and upper-crust residence, for Londoners. The landscaped park is ribboned with paved walking and cycling routes that are wide enough to share with other pedestrians. Bring a blanket and a picnic to enjoy a bite near the shores of the manmade lake, where swans drift atop the water. While in the area, look for architectural gems, such as the International Student's House, Regent's Park College, and numerous villas and terraces that decorate the acreage. The park has its own Tube station, so it's easy to reach from anywhere in London. Plan my day in London using traveler tips and tourist information provided by Inspirock.

  • One of our favourite place to enjoy the aroma of roses. Here you can enjoy not only flowers, but many species of birds as well. A truly great place to spend your quality time with nature.  more »
  • Nice big area for kids and walking the dogs and exercising. Things going off in the park sometimes and great place for a picnic  more »
