Tate Britain Reviews
I have visited the Tate Britain today to see some of Van Gogh’s work. A wonderful experience, well managed. Clean and working toilets. Helpful staff. A great day out if you enjoy art. more »
This museum is in a lovely building. The "permanent" exhibitions tend to vary somewhat as exhibits are loaned out (the Ophelia painting is currently in Turin and some paintings recently went to Canber... more »
Went to a photo exhibition. This is the real deal- a truly comprehensive experience covering the gamut of artistic endeavour. Along with its sister the Tate Modern, two of the jewels in London's cultural landscape. It's a close call but I'd come here rather than the V&A personally. Worth being a member too.
I have already been in Tate Modern, so when I arrived in Tate Britain I was surprised. This museum is smaller then the other one and I didn't like it so much. I love modern art but here, in Tate Britain, I wasn't amazed. Inside there is a collection of William Turner's paintings, it is interesting. If you have few time I suggest you to visit only Tate Modern, otherwise if you have time visit both
