  • The estate gardens & woodlands are a treat to walk in, especially with the dog. Routes of different lengths are ready laid out as you follow different signposts for each. The house is beautiful, but can be expensive. Fairs are good through the summer, things like art & craft shows, but again they ask a premium price. A very pretty location.
  • My little family and I had a lovely walk here yesterday. I had my 7 month old daughter in a harness, and my 18 month old boy was walking (until he got too tired). We weren't sure whether we would manage to get a push chair all the way round the 'blue trail', but tried anyway, and although there were a few difficult bits, we did it. It took us past the church and round the lake, a beautiful, scenic walk. We had a picnic on one of the benches towards the end and altogether a lovely time.
