Forbury Gardens is a public park in the town of Reading in the English county of Berkshire. The park is on the site of the outer court of Reading Abbey, which was in front of the Abbey Church. The site was formerly known as the Forbury, and one of the roads flanking the current gardens is still known as The Forbury. Fairs were held on the site three times a year until the 19th century. To visit Forbury Gardens on your holiday in Reading, and find out what else Reading has to offer, use our Reading.

Forbury Gardens reviews
Nice green escape, it's effectively Reading's Central Park from what I could tell. Nice place to sit and chill but isn't huge so not really something I'd say in would be a destination trip place. Its more like a small park but its a very nice small park.
Perfect place to chill on a warm day. Surprisingly busy during lunch. It has a sandwich kiosk but many people buy from nearby coffee shops. Abbey ruins adjacent. If I remember correctly Summer is a coming in, was written there, the oldest song written down in English.
