The Herb Farm Reviews
This is an ok place but it's not cheap. The cream tea is average, a small but delicious crumbly scone served with a small dish of clotted cream a pat of butter and a small pot of jam comes in at £4.10... more »
Visited the herb farm the other day. Had a lovely soup and scone but was taken back by the ‘short’ ‘blonde’ women’s attitude. Found her to be very rude to both staff and customers. Other staff members... more »
I went with a friend for a gossip, a coffee and a snack. The coffee was good and I had poached eggs on toast. They were the best poached eggs on toast that I'd ever had. Eggs perfectly cooked on toasted seedy bread. Absolutely delicious. Had a look around as well and they have some excellent items for the garden and the shop is stuffed with quality artisan food. It's a lovely place. Plus there is ample parking.
We stopped on the way home for lunch and the restaurant was quite busy. It is partly in the building and partly in the conservatory and is comfortable. The staff are efficient but not particularly friendly, and although quite pricey the food was good and well presented and the coffee good. The gift shop has as good range with some unusual and interesting items.
