  • The world of glass was closed when we arrived, and was not due to open again until the 7th October, there was no information on the website. So ring before you travel.  more »

  • Always worth a visit when in St Helens. Part of the display area was closed while it was upgraded and made ready for a new display. You can buy items of glass made in the factory, gifts and toys, variety of books and if you time your visit you can see a demo of glass blowing (think that costs extra). Always art displays on view and many are available to purchase. There is a good cafe onsite and a fun area for children. The facility is user friendly for wheelchairs throughout and ample free parking.
  • This was quite a find. Nice for a quiet drink and catch up with friends. If weather permits the outside space is lovely and a 'world' away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
