Holy Trinity Church Theale, Reading

#11 of 12 in Historic Sites in Reading
Cemetery · Hidden Gem · Architectural Building
Come and join us on Sundays at 10.30am with clear Bible teaching and wonderful music with hymns old and new. The first Sunday in the month is Morning Worship – the other three Sundays are Holy Communion.

Families and children are especially welcome: there is a relaxed friendly atmosphere and a special place at the back of the church for families with young children where the children can move around freely and enjoy toys and books provided. During the Bible readings and sermon, we hope children will come and join us in the Rectory for our Sunday School Groups: Scramblers - 3-6 years and Explorers – 7-13 years.

Our other services include our monthly Family Church at 4pm at St. Luke’s and on the first Sunday in the month an informal Holy Communion Service at 6.30pm at Holy Trinity.

The priest in charge and associated priest are:

Rev Ann Templeman &

Rev Peter Templeman

  • A really lovely church set in the heart of Theale village. Attended a wedding here and it was simply wonderful.
  • Very interesting and good that open. Mystery large room adjoining tower with no apparent access. Shame part of graveyard overgrown with brambles etc swamping apparent bushes.
