St. George's Chapel is Windsor Castle's house of worship, where Queen Elizabeth II attends services while residing in the castle. The daily activity of the church is the responsibility of the religious college of St. George. It is a chapel of the Order of the Garter, which watches over it. Visit the grand cathedral to view stained glass that's looked over English monarchs for centuries. The aisle, lined with ornate stone archways and carved pews, is an epic forced perspective. Purchase your admission to the chapel when you buy your ticket to the castle. Visit the chapel during a service or music recital to experience the glory of the space; these take place throughout the week, so check the website for an event schedule or ask what's on at the ticket office. • Great docents. Great organ music. A nice opportunity to explore on our own. This really should be your first stop on your Windsor Castle tour. No photos inside the chapel! Plan on a 30 minute visit unless you are there for a service. It is an active living chapel.
  • Prince Harry and Meghan got married at this chapel. It is very beautiful especially the inside but unfortunately no making of photos is allowed. The entrance fee includes seeing the whole Windsor castle because the chapel is inside the castle premises. It's very beautiful
