I visited at the end of January, 2023. They took my admission money but upon entry I found all the rooms empty. What? Apparently they had a flood last year and all the exhibits are in storage...

Definitely worth a visit when on Bonaire. You’ll learn allot about the history of bonaire, slavery and the other Caribbean islands. It’s small but big enough. Takes you about an hour to see everything. For locals it’s $5 and for tourists $10.. cheapest museum I’ve ever went to!

We had the opportunity to visit the Terramar Museum during our visit to Bonaire in the Caribbean Netherlands. This museum was easy to visit in a limited time and offered excellent insight into the history of the island from photos to artifacts. We are appreciated having this experience during our visit to this location during our cruise. This is an affordable, educational experience if you like to know more about history.
