Create an itinerary including Boca Slagbaai
Adventure the rough roads as they wind through the dramatic terrain of Boca Slagbaai, a remote beach and dive spot. It's a long drive to get there, but you'll reap the rewards of a teeming marine life, good swimming, and the gorgeous color of the water. Back on land, you may spot a range of different critters, from goats and donkeys to exotic reptiles and birds, including flamingos. Due to the remoteness of the location and the lack of services (with the exception of onsite restrooms), bring lots of water and snacks to keep you going. Make Boca Slagbaai a centerpiece of your Washington-Slagbaai National Park vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Washington-Slagbaai National Park travel route planner.

  • It was definitely worth the drive out there. We took the short road going out cut an hour off the trip. Make sure to pack a lunch and drinks. Nice beach and the cliff jump is a must do.

  • Absolutely beautiful area! Wild flamingos hang out near the beach, the rock walls on either side of the beach have a lot of fish and coral to see.
  • Love Slagbaai, fun 25ft cliff jump that will keep you busy for a really long time. A great place to snorkel there are lots of fish. If you stay on the left side after the cliff jump the shallow coral has a lot of sea life. I saw the biggest Parrot fish I've ever seen here. The dive starts to the left and then a pretty good way out before the drop off begins.
