If you are touring the Somme battlefields and memorials then this is a lovely place to visit en-route. There isn't much parking but not many people seem to visit so that's not a problem. It's a 10 or.... more

Le belvedere de vaux. Is an observation platform with a panoramic view over part of le somme. With small parking and 2 hiking trails

Remarkable site. You will discover there that during the ice ages the river had such a flow that it dug the Picardy plateau. The view is magnificent. A panel explains in a simple but precise way the why and how of these meanders of the Somme. A must see. If you are a photo lover stay there...... one day 😅😅😅😅. Natural lights give different tones depending on the time of day.
