  • One of the oldest villages in the Country of Co (Pays de Caux) and the most beautiful villages in Normandy. Veul-les-Roses will enchant you with its landscapes: the charm of its seashores, rich architectural heritage and greenery along the shortest river in France - the Veul. The length of this river is only 1100 m. Walking along its banks, you will discover the history of the village (mills, resort villas, flower houses, churches) and come out to the sea with a sandy beach. You will find buildings of various styles here - from rustic wooden houses and fishermen's houses to chic villas of the early 20th century, as well as small and large gardens with an abundance of flowers, especially roses.
  • It is a small valley nestled in the Pays de Caux, between the alabaster cliffs. Between the banks of the Veules and the seafront, a village stretches out where Belle Époque villas rub shoulders with old half-timbered Norman houses. At first, painters and intellectuals from all over Europe stopped to visit Veules-les-Roses and eventually succumbed to its charms. You simply have to visit Veules-les-Roses! Stroll, stroll, stroll in this village which alone concentrates all the charm of Normandy. It is one of the most beautiful in France and one of the oldest in the region. It was built in a valley, a depression in the cliffs which gives access to the sea. Everything is there, from half-timbered houses to old mills, including Belle Époque villas and bath cabins. The smallest river in France which is 1149 meters long. This is one of the peculiarities of the village and you should not miss to walk along it obviously. You can start the walk on the waterfront to go up the path to the source of the river. You will come across old stone bridges, half-timbered thatched cottages and old hotels.
