Le Fleuve La Veules, Veules-les-Roses

One of the oldest villages in the Country of Co (Pays de Caux) and the most beautiful villages in Normandy. The length of this river is only 1100 m. It was built in a valley, a depression in the cliffs which gives access to the sea. Everything is there, from half-timbered houses to old mills, including Belle Époque villas and bath cabins. ​​The smallest river in France which is 1149 meters long. This is one of the peculiarities of the village and you should not miss to walk along it obviously. You can start the walk on the waterfront to go up the path to the source of the river. You will come across old stone bridges, half-timbered thatched cottages and old hotels.
