Felt that the walls and the towers were a bit overrated, as there's nothing much you can do here aside from walking along the walls and climbing the different towers. If you must choose one, the clock tower (Zytturm) is the one that is worth climbing the most, as you can see the inner workings of the clock. The view from the walls and tower is not bad, but aside from that this feels just like a hiking exercise. Entrance is free though and you can walk along the walls from the hill to the river and vice versa, though would have appreciated more if they included explanations in English of the significance of the place.

Visit this place to score yourself a free view of the Lucerne City, and a light workout too 😊 There really isn’t much to do here other than to walk around the walls, make sure to get up the steep ladders to get to where to good views are! 👍🏻
