Rapperswil Castle is a castle, built in the early 13th century AD by the House of Rapperswil in the former independent city of Rapperswil.It is located on the eastern Zürichsee respectively western Obersee lakeshore in Rapperswil, a locality of the municipality Rapperswil-Jona in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Since 1870, the castle has been home to the Polish National Museum established by Polish émigrés, including the castle's lessee and restorer, Count Wladyslaw Broel-Plater. I could not visit the castle's interior (I think it is private). But the building, the garden and the view from all around justify the visit. Don't miss it if you happen to be around.

Beautiful castle in Rapperswil with a magnificent view of Lake Zurich. The grounds are very well maintained and the gardens are gorgeous. Popular for weddings.

A beautiful Swiss castle in Rapperswill-Jona, awesome for a little walk through the city! Also surrounded by a lot of restaurants. You shouldn't miss this view, we were able to take some nice pictures! There is also a little deer park, which is very well-kept, as well as other little fun gimmicks for children. Can only give five stars!
