Canterbury — 13 nights

Canterbury is a historic English cathedral city and UNESCO World Heritage Site, which lies at the heart of the City of Canterbury, a local government district of Kent, England. We've included these beaches for you: Camber Sands and St Margaret-at-Cliffe. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at The Munnings Art Museum and Queen Bee Home. Explore Canterbury's surroundings by going to Maidstone (Kent Owl Academy & Leeds Castle), Dymchurch Beach (in Dymchurch) and Kingsgate Bay (in Kingsgate). There's still lots to do: paddle through the water with Canoe Wild, learn about all things military at IWM Duxford, see the interesting displays at The Micro Museum, and look for all kinds of wild species at The Big Cat Sanctuary.
For reviews, maps, more things to do, and more tourist information, go to the Canterbury journey planner.
London to Canterbury is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or drive; or take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) to allow time to take a train back home.
