The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Stiftsbibliothek and Kirche Enge. Explore Zurich's surroundings by going to Bern (UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern & Rose Garden (Rosengarten)), Gurten (in Wabern) and Basel (Zoo Basel, Basel Minster, &more). There's much more to do: look for gifts at Confiserie Sprungli, admire the masterpieces at Museum of Art (Kunsthaus Zurich), take in the dramatic scenery at Rhine Falls, and walk around Lindenhof Hill.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiports are Zürich Airport, EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport and Bern Belp Airport. In November in Zurich, expect temperatures between 10°C during the day and 3°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Mon) early enough to catch the flight to Geneva.

Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
