London — 5 nights

Vibrant and noisy, London is one of the world’s leading cities, an international capital of culture, education, fashion, music, finance, trade, and politics.
Step out of the city life by going to Speed Boats Tours and WWT London Wetland Centre. Get some historical perspective at Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at National Gallery, examine the collection at The British Museum, make a trip to Tower of London, and pause for some serene contemplation at St. Paul's Cathedral.

To find photos, maps, more things to do, and other tourist information, you can read our London visit planner.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are London Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick Airport, London Stansted Airport, London City Airport, London Luton Airport, London St. Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International Rail Station, South Cape (Zuid-Kaap) Airport (nonexistent / spam) and Ashford International Rail Station. In February, daily temperatures in London can reach 9°C, while at night they dip to 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel back home.
