Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Bakewell: Chestnut Centre Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park (in Chapel-en-le-Frith) and Church of the Holy Cross (in Ilam). There's still lots to do: view the masterpieces at Chatsworth House, contemplate the waterfront views at River Wye, hike along Ridge Walk Mam Tor to Losehill, and explore the striking landscape at Stanage Edge.
