I visited several times. Turkmenistan has several fine artists, who have painting hanging here. Highly recommend it. The artists are still living, so you can still buy their art.

Very interesting museum where the downstairs is all Turkmen art and upstairs a mixture of European and Asian. The Turkmen artists are good but the themes are not very original and repetitive. The sculptures are good! The museum is huge and very nice building.

After arriving at the museum, you will be alone in the art world (almost no visitors on exhibition days). For introverts, this is the best place to be in an atmosphere of complete solitude :-)) I can't say 100%, but it's hard to believe that artist Kuinji's paintings are original. Stickies, call them and you won't regret it. A marble composition A girl with Cupid is life in stone, touch them and you will feel it.
