The collection includes works by Gainsborough, Stubbs, Zoffany, and Guardi, as well as decorative arts. • Besides being a set of Bridgerton, the museum has a small but lovely collection of art and decorative arts. Lovely garden and cafe.

  • The building itself - old and new parts - and grounds are beautiful. However the permanent collection is pretty dull to anyone without a serious interest in antiques, and I wouldn't bring kids here unless there's a specific exhibition aimed at children. I find the cost of the temporary exhibitions too high, and it's such a small place you don't get much for that price either. The cafe is really nice and rather sophisticated - read 'expensive'. And if your kid wants an ice lolly, you're out of luck - it's posh ice cream or nothing! Best suited to older people or well-off foreign tourists with disposable income, than families or young people, which is a shame.
  • A glorious day to walk around this historic museum, extensive collection of items dating from the 1700s. The Tudors and ghosts very interesting. Good value for money. Would recommend, need a couple of hours to set aside. The museums is well thought out.
