Me and my partner love the view from Surprise View. Well worth the walk up, amazing! We loved spotting all the different shaped rocks and if you time it right you can see a great sunset from here :)

Really easy to find off of the main road. Payment available by cash or card. Plenty of spaces. No toilets or food I'm afraid. A 10 minute walk takes you to millstone edge which has excellent views. Boots are needs for this. It's not a hard walk but very muddy. You can walk even further across the fields and moors to a cave and many beautiful views but you'll need wellies as it's very water logged at present. Not too busy during the week either !!

I can't rate this car park any less than five stars as I was able to park my car here. So it did its job perfectly. Also it's a gorgeous place to visit if anyone wants a quieter peak District location to explore. Highly recommended warm gear as the winds can pick up at the top.
