The REME Museum is within the MoD Lyneham site, in Lyneham, Wiltshire, England, about 9 miles (14 km) southwest of Swindon. This was our first visit here, and what can I say. A great museum telling the history of the REME's. Ample of free parking with a few disabled parking bays. The staff that we saw were very polite. Plenty to see and do. The museum is all on one level, so wheelchair friendly. We decided to have a meal in the cafe. The portion size was large and very tasty. The prices were very reasonable. A hot meal and a drink for under £10 each. If you are interested in the history, then a visit is a must.

Great museum, everything functional, tidy and informative. A great variety of displays and vehicles relative to it's size. At least an hour's worth of reading and some great videos.
