Kinder Scout, Edale

Lovely area and fantastic walk, parked in a small nearby village and travelled up via grindslow knoll and the woolpack which is a greatly scenic part of the peak district. Very wet and windy due to the time of year but fine if dressed properly. Make sure you have waterproof boots as there is some water to cross and peat bogs to navigate.

Love it here. We took a different route than previous visits and went up Ollerbrook Clough and then onto the Plateau. It was really windy at the top but the views are just stunning. It was our 3rd visit after already doing Kinder Downfall and Grindsbrook Clough routes and this was as before a really enjoyable hike.
