  • As we were leaving the area we spotted the windmill in the distance so went to view it. It wasn't open but we looked around, took some pictures and left a donation in the box..... Was well looked after😊
  • A magical vista awaits as you drive up the hill and spy Wilton Windmill through the trees. The only surviving working Windmill in the county, its stands majestic and solidly in the Wiltshire countryside before you, with all the romance, mystery and history of a bygone era! Visit in season on a Sunday and you can witness the sails turning, corn being ground and the chance to buy same in the cafe/gift shop. Excellent volunteer guides provide wonderful tales of the original Miller and local history. Standing beneath the sails for a photograph provides a beautiful memory to take home. Go there now, you won't regret it. Excellent !! 👍👍
